Before purchasing a puppy from us, please review this page in detail and entirety.
We understand it is an investment and a commitment to accept the responsibility of
adopting a puppy. Please consider all aspects of ‘life with a puppy’ before making a reservation.
Despite all our best intentions, the cuteness may wear off once you experience the time, energy, expense, training, and socialization needs associated with an energetic puppy.
A good dog starts with good genetics, but time and energy are needed to train them to learn everything they need to know to fit into your home and complement your life.
With that in mind, please consider the following important details about making a purchase from Ranch Home Labs. Thank you for already loving your dog and doing your best, along with us, to find them an amazing fur-ever home!
Prepare, show care, and be aware.
1. Please be very familiar with the individual needs and traits of this specific breed
(exercise and grooming requirements, size, temperament, etc.) before purchasing.
2. Your puppy will be ready for you at 8 weeks of age. Please be aware of puppy behaviour expected at this age.
3. Please be aware that our puppies are sold with a NON-Breeding Agreement from
CKC. You must be willing to sign this document and adhere to the implications. This is unless otherwise decided between buyer and breeder that breeding rights will be sold.
4. Get ready to have the proper care, feed, shelter and time commitment associated with your puppy. We only want the very best homes for our puppies. We feed Purina Puppy Chow, but encourage you to research and discover the food that is right for your dog. There are a lot of viable options including raw, quality kibble, or a mix. The most important thing is to feed your dog a measured and appropriate amount. As per our health guarantee your new puppy must not be free-fed while we are guaranteeing their health.
Genetic Testing
We conduct detailed genetic testing for health reasons on sires and dams. This extensive testing is important to ensure the health and safety of our dogs and any dogs that may result from our strenuously conscientious breeding.
This means before we breed any pair, we complete the testing to be sure the pups will have no genetic defects. If you are looking for sound, healthy Labrador Retriever puppies you have come to the right place.
Deposits, Payment and Shipping
Deposits are $300.00. Deposits can be made once you have filled in the Puppy
Owner Application form and both you and I feel that a Ranch Home Labrador is a
great fit for you and your family.
Deposits are non-refundable. They are then applied toward the total purchase price.
Choice of pup is determined by order of deposits received. Please note that Ranch Home Labs reserves the right to first pick male and/or female from any litter.
Refunds. If a deposit is made and Ranch Home Labs is unable to provide you with a puppy to your specifications (colour, sex, etc.) within 1 year of the deposit date, the deposit will be refunded in full or moved to another litter of your choice.
Payment. Payment can be made by cash or e-transfer to Kaitlin Driedger at ranchhomelabs@gmail.com.
Pricing. Prices are subject to change at any time depending on circumstances of the
breeding and whelping dams. Our pricing reflects the cost of raising sound, and
healthy purebred pups.
